Imphal, November 25 2025: A female recruitment rally was conducted today by the T erritorial Army at Khuga, drawing 201 enthusiastic candidates from diverse educational and socio-economic backgrounds.

The event was flagged off by the Sector Commander, Assam Rifles.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (S), the rally opened with a rigorous run test, serving as the primary screening stage.

Fourteen candidates successfully cleared this phase, demonstrating notable physical fitness, grit and discipline.

Their performance reflected the growing aspiration among women in the region to serve the nation in uniform.

The rally was executed with precision and professionalism, supported by the Khuga Battalion of Assam Rifles.

Robust administrative, medical, security and logistical arrangements ensured a smooth and dignified experience for all participants.

Every stage of the selection process adhered strictly to laid-down norms, with transparency and fairness as guiding principles.
