Two officers of Homeland Academy selected for NISA Instructor Course

Imphal, September 25 2026: Homeland Academy of Tactical Security and Fire Safety under the flagship initiative of 9 Sector Assam Rifles and IGAR (South) has marked a milestone as Assistant Training Officers Khundrakpam Surkanta Singh and Meisnam Meipaksana Singh have been selected for Instructor Course at National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), CISF, Hyderabad from September 27, 2026 .

The course is conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Police Modernisation Division) for instructors of Private Security Agencies.

Homeland Academy is the only security academy from NE India whose instructors are participating in this prestigious national-level course.

Director Rajkumar Babloo Singh said better-trained instructors mean stronger discipline, professional standards and employment readiness for Manipur youth.

The exposure will enhance faculty quality and benefit trainees, particularly vulnerable and economically weaker sections, with discipline-based training and livelihood opportunities, reflecting the shared vision of 9 Sector AR , IGAR (South) and Homeland Academy.
