AR facilitates homecoming of misguided youth

Kakching, October 24 2024: Assam Rifles has successfully facilitated the safe return of a misguided youth who was allegedly coerced into joining the proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) back to his family in Pallel, Manipur, The team ensured his safe return through relentless surveillance and precise intelligence after he was reportedly taken to Myanmar forcefully in February of this year.

After eight months under dire conditions, the youth seized his opportunity for freedom on October 20, said a press release issued by IGAR (S) .

The heartwarming home-coming ceremony was marked by an emotional reunion with his parents.

This symbolic event is a reminder that every youth deserves a chance at redemption.
