Sainik School shines at Dhai Akhar National letter writing competition

Imphal, March 24 2026: Demonstrating its excellence in literary pursuits, a Cadet and a faculty member of Sainik School Imphal have secured top honours in the prestigious "Dhai Akhar" Letter Writing Competition for the 2025-26 session.

In the Under-18 category, Cadet Kenneth Ningthoujam, Adm No 4720 of Class 6 secured 2nd position and received Rs 10,000 as cash prize.

Adding to the schools accolades, Th Thoiba Singh, TGT Social Science, was recognized in the Above-18 category.

The Principal of Sainik School Imphal has expressed immense pride in the awardees, formally congratulating both Cadet Kenneth Ningthoujam and Th Thoiba Singh in a statement.

The "Dhai Akhar" competition, an initiative by the Department of Posts, is a Nationwide campaign designed to revive the art of letter writing.
