Assam Rifles engages with students of Mission Blind School in Kakching

Assam Rifles conducted an interactive session with the resident children of Mission Blind School, Heikakpokpi in Kakching district on April 21, 2026 .
According to a press note issued by IGAR (South), the event provided a platform for the children to showcase their natural talents and foster emotional support.
A total of 20 children, ranging from 4 to 16 years of age, participated alongside their teaching staff in a day defined by self-introductions, shared experiences and cultural togetherness.
The atmosphere turned lively and spirited as the children sang the Assam Rifles song, "Badluram Ka Badan", their clear voices reflecting a deep love for the motherland.
The session aimed to ignite independent thoughts and build confidence among the students while acknowledging the unwavering assistance extended by the force throughout the year.
To further enable the children in their daily lives, Assam Rifles ensured the provision of essential infrastructure requirements and basic amenities for the school.
Mission Blind School continues to provide a stable environment that helps these resilient children navigate their challenges.
By focusing on the well-being and enablement of these "hidden gems", the initiative successfully strengthened the bonds of trust and reliability.
