Imphal, August 19 2026: A prize distribution programme for the 2nd State Level Open Patriotic Song Competition was held at Khurai Popular Ground on August 14 .

The competition, organised by BJP Khurai Mandal in collaboration with Susindro Foundation under Khurai AC MLA L Susindro Meitei, was held yesterday to mark Patriots' Day.

Thokchom Lankhomba Meitei secured the first position, followed by Roshini Yumnam in second and Chanam Kalpana Devi in third.

Winners received cash prizes of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.

Contestants from 4th to 8th position were given consolation prizes of Rs 5,000 each.

L Susindro Meitei attended as chief guest.

BJP Khurai Mandal president L Kananbala presided, while BJP Imphal East District president P December was guest of honour.
