Har Ghar Tiranga campaign concludes in Kakching with Tiranga, Vande Mataram exhibition

The fifth edition of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign concluded today with a "Tiranga and Vande Mataram Exhibition" organised at the Community Hall of the DC Office Complex, Kakching, under the supervision of the District Administration, Kakching.
The exhibition was jointly organised by the Block Development Officer, Kakching CD Block, in collaboration with the Zonal Education Officer, Kakching.
A major attraction of the exhibition was a display depicting the evolution of the Indian National Flag from 1904 to 1947.It showcased key milestones, beginning with the 1904 flag designed by Sister Nivedita, followed by the 1906 flag bearing the words "Vande Mataram", the Calcutta Flag of 1906, the Saptarishi or Madam Cama Flag of 1907, the Home Rule Movement Flag of 1917, the Bezwada Charkha Flag of 1921, the Swaraj Flag of 1931 and the present Tricolour adopted in 1947.Altogether 31 students from Irengband Upper Primary School, Kakching Khullen Upper Primary School, Kakching Higher Secondary School, MMS Genius Academy and Grace Cottage Cultural & Educational Development Foundation participated in the exhibition.
The students displayed posters, drawings and various art and craft works prepared by them as part of the campaign.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ph Bhavananda Sharma, BDO Kakching CD Block Okram Sandhyarani Devi and Zonal Education Officer M Rakesh Singh, along with officials of the District Administration, teachers and school officials, attended the programme.
The activities involving children were aimed at nurturing patriotism, familiarising them with the country's national heritage and fostering a sense of respect and personal connection with the Tricolour from an early age.
