LPG safety awareness programme held at Wangbal

Thoubal, April 17 2026: An awareness cum training programme for LPG consumers on safe handling of LPG cylinders and fire safety measures was conducted on Friday at Wangbal Mayai Leikai Laikol in Thoubal district.

The programme was organised by the Ningol Khudol Village Level Federation (VLF), Wangbal, in collaboration with All Gas Care (AGC), Manipur State.

Notable dignitaries present include AGC Manipur State Manager Shagolshem Joyprakash and AGC Field Assistant and renowned artist Happy Rajen.

Prior to the commencement of the awareness programme, Happy Rajen entertained the audience with his comedy routine.

This was followed by a detailed awareness session conducted by AGC State Manager, S Joyprakash, who educated participants on proper safety procedures and guidelines to be followed while using LPG, along with practical demonstrations on handling fire incidents caused by cooking gas.

Local residents expressed appreciation to the AGC team for organising the informative session and providing practical guidance on LPG safety.

Meanwhile, the LPG safety awareness programme was also held yesterday at Tumukhong under Imphal East district, jointly organised by the Youth Social Organisation and Apunba Meira Paibi, Tumukhong.
