Imphal, February 15 2026: The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch, in collaboration with the Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO), successfully organised a 1-Day First Aid Training Programme today at the UFO Imphal East Headquarter No 1, Langthabal Kunja Battalion.

Several key officials participated in the programme, including IRCS Manipur State Branch chairman Narendra Ningomba; secretary Athokpam Nabachandra; UFO secretary general Y Meiraba Angom; finance secretary L Tairen; and UFO Imphal East H/Q No 1 Langthabal Kunja Battalion president Seram Joy, along with other UFO members.

During the training, IRCS officials provided detailed instructions on the necessary steps to take in the event of an injury or an emergency situation.

The session focused on practical knowledge for immediate assistance.
