Youth Cultural Exchange Programme begins

Imphal, August 14 2026: A three-day 'Youth Cultural Exchange Exhibition Programme' sponsored by the North Eastern Council (NEC), Government of India began Friday at Ragailong Centenary Community Hall, Imphal East.

The programme is jointly organised by Goodwill Group for Rural & Urban Development, Gangmumei Kamei Foundation (GK Foundation) and Majorkhul Youth Association under the theme "Connecting Cultures, Building Communities".

Dinganglung Gangmei, Chairman of Hill Area Committee, Manipur graced the event as chief guest.

GK Foundation chairperson G Lanshailu presided, while L Poucharei Rongmei, president, TRC Ragailong was guest of honour.

Speaking at the inaugural, Dinganglung Gangmei said the exchange aims to promote mutual understanding and harmony among the indigenous communities of Manipur through cultural sharing.
