66 Bn CRPF organises blood donation camp

Marking World Blood Donor Day, the 66 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Sunday organised a voluntary blood donation camp at District Hospital Thoubal.
The camp was conducted in collaboration with the Blood Bank and Transfusion Unit of District Hospital Thoubal, the Association of Surgeons of India, Manipur Chapter, and the State Blood Transfusion Cell, Manipur.
Held under the theme "One Drop of Humanity, Give Blood, Save Lives," the blood donation camp witnessed active participation from CRPF personnel, including Commandant of 66 Bn CRPF, Anup Kumar Sahu, 2-IC Suresh Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commandant Kishan Salam and Medical Officer/Assistant Commandant Dr Mohd Raffiudin, along with other officers and jawans of the battalion, who donated their blood as an act of service and solidarity to support healthcare needs in the community.
Speaking on the occasion, 66 Bn CRPF Deputy Commandant Kisham Salam said that besides safeguarding national security, CRPF personnel are also actively involved in various welfare initiatives aimed at serving the people.
He stated that organising such initiatives reflects the Force's commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.
