AR honours Lt Wikhamlubou Pamei

The Assam Rifles Mantripukhri Battalion, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspectorate General (South), organised a felicitation ceremony today to honour Lieutenant Wikhamlubou Pamei, ayoung officer recently commissioned into the Indian Army from the Officers Training Academy, Chennai.
Senior officials and troops joined the event to celebrate his achievement and inspire the region's youth.
As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(S), Lt Pamei, a native of Kuilong village in Tamenglong district and presently residing at Kanglatongbi in Imphal West, has become a source of immense pride for his community.
His journey from a remote village to the ranks of a commissioned officer reflects perseverance, dedication, and commitment to serving the nation.
During the ceremony, Senior Officials congratulated Lt Pamei and interacted with his family, including his parents and brother, who shared in the proud moment.
