Imphal, July 13 2026: The Eastern Thang-Ta Organisation, Tangkham concluded a '10-Days Ta-Khousaba Workshop' on Sunday at its Thang-Ta Sindam Sanglen.

The workshop was held from July 3 to July 12.The valedictory function was attended by instructor Thingbaijam Ibohanbi Meitei of LIKLAM, Kongpal as chief guest.

Nameirakpam Jiban Singh, instructor of the organisation, presided over the function.

Guests of honour included Laishram Lashamon Singh, instructor, Huyel Lanjang Thang-Ta Cultural Association, Yaiskul; Ningthoujam Ibohal Meitei, instructor, Meitei Inat Sindam Apunba, MISA Heingang; and Chongtham Premabati Devi, instructor, Palem Thang-Ta Sindam Sang, Sagolband Tera.

A total of 33 boys and girls participated in the week-long workshop.

During the training, several Thang-Ta experts demonstrated and taught various aspects of Ta-Khousaba, including different techniques and forms of movement and posture.
