Jojo Robertson leads plantation drive in Kasom Khullen

Kamjong, June 11 2026: Environmental activist Jojo Robertson organised a plantation drive at the Resource Centre of the Kasom Khullen Baptist Church in Kamjong district as part of his ongoing campaign to promote environmental awareness and conservation.

During the programme, around 200 saplings of medicinal, aromatic and fruitbearing species were planted in and around the Resource Centre premises.

Speaking on the occasion, Jojo Robertson stressed the importance of protecting the environment in the face of growing climate challenges.

He said that conserving forests and wildlife, along with planting more trees, are among the most effective measures to address the adverse impacts of climate change and the changing rainfall patterns being experienced across the world.
