Bishnupur women display enterprise and unity on National Integration Tour

Bishnupur, December 10 2025:
The National Integration Tour (NTT) 2025-26, organised under the aegis of the Red Shield Division of the Spear Corps, concluded successfully after a nine-day exposure journey aimed at fostering learning, empowerment and national unity.
The tour featured 10 women participants and two staff members from the Cosmetic Centre, Pubala, and the Yam Bank, Toronglaobi - both key initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana 2025-26.From December 2-10, the contingent travelled to Mumbai and Pune, where they attended vocational workshops and visited prominent cultural and entrepreneurial sites including the Tribal Culture Museum, Phoenix Marketcity, ISKCON Temple and the Tribal Museum, Pune.
A major highlight of the tour was an interactive session in Pune with Self Help Groups and women entrepreneurs facilitated by the Bank of Maharashtra.
The visiting Ema's gained valuable insights into livelihood models, financial inclusion and sustainable business practices.
Entrepreneurs from Maharashtra also expressed keen interest in future collaboration with the Yam Bank and Cosmetic Centre.
Notably, the Manipur product display held during the visit generated Rs 33,230 in a single day, reflecting strong market interest and appreciation for their work.
The tour further strengthened inter-regional bonds through meaningful interactions with Army officials in both Bishnupur and Maharashtra, reinforcing the spirit of national integration.
