Kakching, October 09 2025: Applications have been invited from interested candidates for the 9th edition of Yengkhom Ibochou Singh and Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Farmer Award.

The award is sponsored by Dr Yengkhom Rajendra Singh, retd Project Officer, Veterinary Department from Kakching Chumnang Leikai.

Launched in 2017, the award comes with a certificate and Rs 10,000 in cash.

The applications should be submitted to the president or secretary of The Trust "Yengkhom Ibochou Singh and Tanou Devi Best Manipuri Pony Award", c/o Dr Yengkhom Rajendra Singh, Vets Centre Kakching Chumnang Leikai, PO Kakching, Manipur, India, 795103 by November 7, 2025 .

The application should include the candidate's name, address, names of parents, number of ponies (specify the number of colts/mares/foals), method of rearing, recommendation from an NGO working for the welfare of ponies, activities undertaken by the applicant for the benefit of ponies, two photos of the applicant taken with his/her ponies and three passport size photos.
