Langban Heisoi ritual observed to honour martyrs and ancestors

Thoubal, September 09 2025: The Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Moreh and Churachandpur under the initiative of the Committee on Protection of Meetei Victims (CoPMeV) Moreh, conducted Langban Heisoi Tamba ritual to pay homage to their deceased forefathers, martyrs who laid down their lives for the motherland, and other departed souls who contributed significantly to the growth and history of Moreh.

The solemn event saw a large gathering of displaced persons currently taking shelter at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex Relief Camp.

Participants came forward with deep reverence, offering flowers and fruits at Wangjing Turel, praying for eternal peace and rest for the departed souls.
