109 Bn CRPF distributes water storage tanks

Imphal, March 09 2025: 109 Bn CRPF, Mongsangei under the aegis of IG, Manipur & Nagaland sector, CRPF conducted a Civic Action Programme on March 6, 2025 at Langthabal Mantrikhong Thong Ahanbi Community Hall, Imphal West.

During the programme, 30 nos of water storage tanks with a capacity of 500 litres each were distributed to the poor and needy families.

The event was graced by Brijesh Kumar, Commandant-109 Bn CRPF as chief guest.

Speaking at the occasion, Brijesh Kumar, Comdt-109 Bn CRPF stated that 109 Bn CRPF as part of its Civic Action Programme has always been reaching out to the underprivileged at their doorstep and connecting them through heart and soul.

He explained the relevance of the Civic Action Programme, and exhorted people to work towards peace and development in Manipur.

He also expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and villagers for extending their support in holding such initiative.

The event was also attended by Sarat Singh (Pradhan) Langthabal Mantrikhong Thong Ahanbi Community Hall, Pandit M Joginder Singh (Senior Auditor), M Modhu Singh (Vice-president), Th Naba Kumar Singh (Treasurer), W Nanda Singh (Chairman), members of Hiyangthang Lairembi Development Seva Committee and villagers.
