State logs four new cases, three recoveries

Imphal, September 05 2022:
Government bulletins on Monday reported four new positive cases of Covid-19 from three districts, out of 284 samples tested in the last 24 hours with positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.
The four fresh cases (3 males & 1 female) are residents of Imphal West (2), Churachandpur (1) and Kakching (1) districts.
Monday also reported only three recoveries as the number of active cases rose to 62 out of which 42 are in home isolation.
No death case was reported on Monday and the toll stands at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus had infected 1,39,742 individuals including 5,020 CAPF personnel.
There are 31 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 60 in RIMS.
In the last 24 hours, 32 D-type and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities arid 82 vaccine doses administered on Sunday.
The cumulative number of vaccinated population increased to 16,33,955, out of which 13,08,385 had received the second dose and 2,49,040 taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49794), Imphal East (32023), Thoubal (10290), Churachandpur (11276), Kangpokpi (3183), Tamenglong (3496), Bishnupur (9975), Senapati (2545), Ukhrul (3363), Kakching (6973), Chandel (2792), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1210), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (476) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (16), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
