LYCY felicitates meritorious students at Yairipok

Thoubal, July 05 2026: The Laimanai Youth Club Yairipok (LYCY) on Sunday organised a felicitation ceremony to honour meritorious students from the area under its jurisdiction who secured distinction in the Class X and Class XII examinations.

The programme was held at the Laimanai Multipurpose Community Hall.

The awards presented during the ceremony were sponsored by Konjengbam Suresh (SK) in memory of his late wife, Konjengbam Ongbi Mala Devi.

Thoubal College Associate Professor Dr Thiyam Tomba Singh attended the function as the chief guest, while LYCY president Phurisabam Dhruba presided over the programme.

Finance Officer of the Manipur Government Keisham Biju (MFS), Keisham Lokeshor Singh (MPS), along with local elders and Meira Paibi leaders, attended as guests of honour.

During the programme, the dignitaries felicitated the successful students by presenting mementoes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and to encourage them in their future pursuits.

The event concluded with a cultural programme that added colour to the celebration and entertained the gathering.
