MASTEC to host NSD celebrations

Imphal, February 05 2026: The Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC) has announced that it will celebrate National Science Day (NSD) 2026 on February 28 at its Complex in Takyelpat.

The event aims to promote scientific temper and commemorate the life and work of Prof CV Raman.

The main attraction of the day's programme will be a Spot Painting Competition for students across two categories: Sub-Junior (Class III to V) and Junior (Class VI to VIII).

Additionally, an invited lecture focusing on the "Life & Works of Prof CV Raman" will also be delivered.

Interested students wishing to participate in the painting competition can collect entry forms from the office of the Director, MASTEC or download them directly from the official website, https://mastec.nic.in.

The deadline for the submission of the duly filled entry forms to the MASTEC office in Takyelpat, is February 23, 2026.Further details regarding the event can be obtained from the MASTEC office.
