Imphal, June 04 2024: Assam Rifles observed International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression at Sehlon village in Chandel district on Tuesday.

The event brought together representatives from the Assam Rifles and the local community.

They paid tribute to the courage and resilience of children who have endured the harrowing consequences of aggression and conflict.

The programme included various activities designed to engage and uplift the spirits of the children, including a motivational lecture and interactive sessions with the children.

A total of 42 children and parents of Se-hlon village attended the event, which highlighted the need of collective action and solidarity in addressing the plight of victim children in conflict-affected areas, according to PRO IGAR (S) .
