Kamjong begins SIR enumeration drive

Kamjong, May 31 2026: The District Administration, Kamjong has launched the Enumeration Phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, 2026, with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) commencing door-to-door visits across the district from May 30.According to a press note issued by District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner L N Kashung, enumeration forms have been issued to all 78 designated BLOs for distribution among registered electors in the district.

The BLOs will conduct household visits till June 28 to deliver duplicate copies of pre-filled enumeration forms and assist electors in updating and verifying their details.

After the forms are completed, BLOs will collect one copy while the signed duplicate copy will remain with the elector as an official receipt.

The administration clarified that no supporting documents will be collected by BLOs during the enumeration phase.

Electors may also download and submit enumeration forms online through the ECI's voter portal and the ECINet mobile application.
