86 Bn CRPF conducts CAP at T Laijang village

As part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP), the 86 Bn CRPF distributed HDPE water supply pipes and water storage tanks to residents of T Laijang village, Kanpokpi district As per a release issued by the 86 Bn CRPF, the programme was held under the aegis of IG M&N Sector CRPF and attended by Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant of 86 B CRPF as chief guest.
Other notable dignitaries include, Inspector Sujeet Das, OC of G/86 Bn CRPF; Doumang Haokip, chairman of T Laijang village; Shonthong Haokip, village leader of T Laijang village; Nopminlun Haokip, general secretary of KSO; along with several CSO leaders, village elders and local residents.
As part of the initiative, essential water supply pipes and storage tanks were handed over to needy households of the village.
Commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary also interacted with villagers, youths and village authorities, discussing avenues for community welfare and future collaborations.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest highlighted the CRPF's ongoing efforts to support local communities and strengthen trust and cooperation with the public.
He noted that the Civic Action Programme plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life in remote areas while enhancing cordial relations between security forces and villagers.
Village leaders expressed gratitude to the CRPF for the support and conveyed hope that similar welfare initiatives would continue in the future.
