Imphal, October 29 2025: Mera Yuva Bharat, Imphal West joint director Salam Dhanachandra has announced that a Unity March will be organised on October31 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron man of India.

Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, Salam Dhanachandra said that Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba will flag off the Unity March at 7:30 am on October 31 from GP Women's College and sought the public's participation in the rally.

The 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be observed across the Nation from October 31 to November 25 and similar mass rallies will be taken out during this period, he said.

The Unity March on October 31 will be executed under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West.

My Bharat NSS, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Manipur and My Bharat volunteers will take part in the march.

Additionally, 150 selected individuals from Manipur will participate in a mega march at Gujarat, he added.
