CRPF Civic Action Programme continues

The Central Reserve Police Force's Civic Action Programmes continue to foster stronger community-security force relations by bridging the gap between local populations and security personnel through welfare activities and development support.
As part of the Civic Action Programme, the 143 Battalion CRPF, Lamphelpat, under the aegis of IG M&N Sector CRPF launched a "Mushroom Cultivation and Barber Training Programme" on December 28 .
The training programme was organised with the aim to help improve socio-economic conditions, especially for unemployed youth and economically weaker sections.
Omnath Chattaraj, 2I/C; CSS Kushwaha, D/C; and Rajeev Singh, A/C along with 38 beneficiaries participated in the programme.
In a release, the 143 Bn CRPF expressed its appreciation to RN Dash, IG, M&N Sector for his vision; M Rajkumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West for his co-operation; Ravinder Sharma, Commandant, 143 Bn CRPF for his initiative; and instructors from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for their valuable technical assistance & contribution towards social cause.
