Noney, September 27 2026: The 41st Women's Day of Prayer of the Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC) was observed across churches in Noney district, along with Rongmei Baptist churches across India, under the theme: "Let your light so shine before men".

The observance highlighted the important role of women in society, families and churches.

Men, youths and children expressed their respect and appreciation for women for their contributions to the well-being of families and communities.

The programme featured Gospel messages focusing on God-fearing women as role models in society.

The speakers encouraged women to continue to play meaningful roles in strengthening families, churches and communities.

Various activities were also organised as part of the observance, including Gospel songs, storytelling, debate competitions and other presentations involving women, youths and children.

The Women's Day of Prayer was observed with prayer, fellowship and thanksgiving, emphasising the value and dignity of women and their contribution to society.
