Appoint new BOSEM Chairman by Nov 30: AMPSA

Imphal, November 26 2024: All Manipur Progressive Students' Association (AMPSA) has appealed to Manipur Government to appoint a new Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) by November 30.On October 24, 2024, a notification was issued by the Joint Secretary of Education (S) for the appointment of BOSEM Chairman, said a press release issued by Wahengbam Bimal Meitei, president, AMPSA.

However, the.

current Chairman continues to hold office despite the fact that his term ended on November 11, 2024, claimed AMPSA.

The AMPSA press release has accused the Chairman of continuing to remain in office despite knowing that he is no longer the authorized signatory.

Thus, the AMPSA press note has urged the State Government to address the issue and appoint a new BOSEM Chairman by November 30.Failing which, the Association will launch intense agitations, it added.
