AR conducts medical camp in Kakching

Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp at Pangaltabi village in Kakching district, Manipur, today under Operation Sadbhavana Project.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the medical camp was conducted in coordination with medical professionals from District Hospital Thoubal and Medilane Foundation.
The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local community, with a team of specialist doctors offering consultations in pediatrics, psychiatry, gynaecology, general medicine, dentistry, ENT and orthopedics.
The camp prioritized senior citizens, pregnant and lactating women, and children, ensuring they received necessary medical attention.
Additionally, attendees were educated on hygiene, sanitation and preventive healthcare.
In addition to provision of medicines and pathological services to over 460 locals.
The medical camp received a positive response from the locals.
