86 Bn CRPF distributes water storage tanks to villagers under CAP

Imphal, November 25 2025:
The 86 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) distributed water storage tanks to residents of Tupul village in Noney district on Tuesday as part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
As per a release issued by the 86 Bn CRPF, the programme held under the aegis of 1G M&N Sector CRPF, was attended by W Nandini Devi, Second in Command of 86 Bn CRPF as chief guest; along with SM Hussain, SDPO Nungba (presently holding the charge of SP Noney); Ningmei Kamei, chairman of Tupul village; Abon Gonmei, secretary of Tupul village; CSOs, women society representatives and villagers.
As part of the programme, CRPF personnel distributed water storage tanks to needy households of Tupul village.
Discussions on community welfare and future collaborative initiatives were also held with village leaders and women's organisations.
Addressing the gathering, W Nandini Devi said the initiative aims to strengthen goodwill and foster positive relations between the CRPF and the local population.
She added that such efforts will improve the quality of life and support the basic needs of the villagers.
Village leaders, including the chairman, women society representatives and villagers, expressed gratitude to the 86 Bn CRPF for the welfare initiative and conveyed hope that similar community-focused initiatives would continue in the future.
