Imphal, September 25 2026: Apunba Nupi Lup, VLF Keirao Bitra under CLF Keirao organised a one-day free eye check-up camp in collaboration with Vision Eye Plus at Youth Development Centre Club, Keirao Bitra today.

Free services including computerized eye testing, cataract detection, eye screening for pterygium, conjunctivitis and allergy were provided.

Ksh Surbala, in-charge of SISD, Apunba Nupi Lup, VLF Keirao, said the camp was held under the Social Action Programme of VLF .

She said apart from helping women improve their economy through Self Help Groups, the VLF is also taking up social responsibilities, and the camp was organised considering difficulties faced by villagers, especially elderly, in visiting hospitals.

Over 50 persons were screened, medicines and spectacles were provided at subsidized rates and some free medicines were distributed.
