AR organises "A Day with Company Commander" at Kovang village

Imphal, June 23 2025: Assam Rifles hosted a vibrant "Day with Company Commander" at the picturesque village of Kovang on Sunday.

As per a release issued by the IGAR (S), more than 75 villagers gathered, attended the event to celebrate a day packed with purpose, pride, and cheer.

From the very start, the event struck a chord.

An employment awareness session exposed the youth to new possibilities and sparking ambition.

The youth paid keen attention to these sessions.

This was followed by a hands-on First Aid demonstration by the medical team, imparting life-saving skills that prepares one for unforeseen situations.

Laughter echoed across the venue as the school staff took on a spirited game of musical chairs, cheered on by children and elders alike.

Traditional songs and dances brought the stage to life, with students proudly showcasing the rich culture of the region.

With a heart for the hills and boots on the ground, Assam Rifles continue to walk beside the people of Manipur, not just as guardians of peace, but as fellow travellers in their journey of growth and hope.
