Assam Rifles celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with local communities in Churachandpur

CCpur, March 22 2026: Assam Rifles celebrated the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr with warmth and camaraderie alongside the local Muslim community of Churachandpur, reflecting the spirit of harmony, unity and mutual respect that de fines the close bond between the force and the people of the region.

According to IGAR (South), the celebration commenced with the offering of Namaz, where members of the Muslim community joined Assam Rifles personnel in a peaceful and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The solemn prayers marked the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan and symbolised gratitude, compassion and togetherness among all present.

During the Namaz, the Imam offered special prayers for the well-being, safety and continued success of Assam Rifles, acknowledging its commitment towards maintaining peace and security in the region.

Prayers were also offered for the prosperity, harmony and welfare of the local community, reinforcing the collective aspiration for peace and development in Churachandpur district Following the prayers, the celebration continued with the exchange of warm greetings and heartfelt "Eid Mubarak" wishes, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and brotherhood.

The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, symbolising happiness and goodwill.
