Nongpok Maikei Apunba Pambei Lup extends support to IDP children

Nongpok Maikei Apunba Pambei Lup, Yairipok continued its humanitarian outreach today by distributing stationery and other essential items to internally displaced persons (IDP) children taking shelter at the Kwakta Sericulture Pre-Fabricated House Relief Camp and Moirang College Relief Camp.
The organisation, driven by its vision of oneness and community support, provided relief materials to around 400 children, along with essential supplies for the camps.
Speaking during the distribution, Ibomcha, a member of Nongpok Maikei Apunba Pambei Lup, said that the assistance was made possible through contributions pooled voluntarily by the members.
He emphasised that the initiative aimed not only to help the displaced children but also to promote unity and uplift families facing immense hardship.
He further stated that the displaced families have been enduring distress and difficulties due to the ongoing violence in the State, and expressed hope that peace would soon prevail, enabling them to return to their original homes.
Urging the government to take immediate steps, he appealed for an amicable solution to the crisis to ensure the safe and dignified return of the displaced families.
