Jiribam, October 21 2024: Jiribam Higher Secondary School Student's Union has stated that the school will remain locked until all teachers transferred to the school via Government orders officially join the school.

A press release issued by Jiribam HSS Student's Union extended gratitude to Yumnam Arunkumar, Under Secretary, Education (S), Government of Manipur for issuing an order on October 18 to fulfil the shortage of teachers at the school.

However, the Union has questioned why the Education Department has not taken any action against one Lecturer (Chemistry) from Lilong Higher Secondary Madrasa who was transferred to Jiribam Higher Secondary School and has still not joined the school.

Therefore, the Union has resolved that the school will remain closed until the newly transferred teachers and the previous one officially join the school.

Jiribam HSS Student's Union has called for the transferred teachers to join the school promptly so that normal classes can commence.
