112 Bn CRPF conducts CAP, medical camp

Kangpokpi, January 20 2025:
With an aim to extend and create atmosphere of goodwill and positive relationship with the local people and address the needs oflocal villagers, the 112 Bn CRPF organized a Civic Action Programme and Free Medical Camp at Ireng Naga and Geljang village, Kangpokpi district under AOR of D/F-112 Bn CRPF today.
The initiative was held under the aegis of Dr Vipul Kumar, IPS, IG, CRPF M&N sector and the able guidance of Manish Kumar Sachar, DIG (Ops) Kangpokpi and under the supervision of Pramod Kumar Sahoo, Commandant, 112 Bn, CRPF.
The programme was attended by around 200 villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant of 112 Bn, CRPF, stated that CRPF will always try to strengthen the relations with the local communities.
He also expressed his gratitude to village chiefs/Village Authority members and all villagers of Ireng Naga, Chiru-II, Geljang, Olmun, Lhangjol and K Makhom for sparing their precious time for the successful conduct of the program.
During the program, sports items, water storage tank (sintex), flexi pipes, solar lamps, school bags, dustbins, etc, were distributed to the needy villagers.
As part of the programme a cultural dance programme was also performed by local youth club members.
The local villagers also expressed their gratitude to the 112 Bn CRPF for organising such an initiative for the welfare of the people.
