BSF holds Mega Blood Donation Camp

Imphal, June 19 2026: The Sector Headquarters, BSF Manipur, organised a Mega Blood Donation Camp at Koirengei today in collaboration with the RIMS Imphal Blood Bank to mark World Blood Donor Day 2026, themed "One Drop of Humanity.

Give Blood.

Save Lives" .

Held under the supervision of Frontier Headquarters BSF, Mizoram and Cachar, the camp saw 101 BSF personnel, including officers from various units and sectors deployed in Manipur, voluntarily donate blood.

Senior BSF officers, along with the CMO of BSF Hospital Koirengei and his team, oversaw the programme.

Officials said the humanitarian drive reflects the BSF's ethos of "Jeevan Paryant Kartavya" and its commitment to community welfare beyond border security, aiming to deepen trust and cooperation with the people of Manipur.
