Imphal, April 17 2025: The Assam Rifles organized "A Day with Company Commander" today at Village Chongkhozou, Churachandpur district.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the event witnessed the participation of 131 students from Chongkhozou English Medium School, along with their teachers and prominent village personalities.

The day featured a motivational lecture cum interactive session with the children, a friendly football match and a sketching competition.

Items that aid the talent of the children like notebooks, stationery, football etc were distributed to children.

The event aimed to strengthen bonds between the security forces and the local community, while promoting peace, creativity and sportsmanship among young minds.

Assam Rifles remains committed to uplifting and empowering youth in the region through such people centric initiatives, said the IGAR (South) .
