Sensitization programme on "Adoption, POCSO and Trafficking" held

Kangpokpi, January 17 2026: A one-day sensitization programme on "Adoption, POCSO Act, 2012 and Trafficking" was held today at Leikoiching in Saikul Assembly Constituency under Kangpokpi district today.

The sensitization programme was organised by the District Child Protection Unit, Kangpokpi and witnessed the attendance of Mutum Leimatombi, District Programme Officer; Reena Moirangthem, District Child Protection Officer and Leikoiching Village Head Daniel as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour respectively.

As resource persons, Gyanlaxmi Thongam, Programme Manager, SARA educated the gathering about "Adoption" while Mala Lisham, Programme Officer, SCPS tackled "POCSO Act 2012 and Trafficking" .
