Diabetes awareness / detection camp held

Imphal, December 16 2024: Lions Club of Imphal Central, Imphal Leimarol, Imphal Chanura, Imphal Ningol Collective and Imphal Greater jointly organised by Diabetes Awareness Cum Detection Camp at Imphal Ema Keithel today.

The camp was supported by Shija Hospitals and Research Institute Private Ltd, said a release issued by Lions International.

Women vendors of the Ema Keithel and residents of nearby areas came forward to avail the facilities provided by the Lions Clubs.

About 549 persons benefited from the camp.

During the camp, patients who were found to be with diabetes were given free consultation with a specialist and advised specific medicines as per the requirements.

Members from all the 5 clubs led by the presidents of the respective clubs participated in the camp.
