Raj Medicity to resume service today

After halting its service to the people for 18 days due to flood caused by cyclone Remal recently, Raj Medicity, North AOC is all set to resume service from Monday onward.
Informing this to the people during a press conference on Sunday, Raj Medicity chairman cum managing director Haobijam Rajen said the recent flood gave severe impact to the hospital as hospital was inundated at least four feet.
Flood water damaged high-end machines and equipment of the hospital like CT scan, X-ray machine, oxygen pipeline, electric panel, fire-fighting system and other materials at store.
However, repairing of machines and equipment of all the blocks of the hospital will be completed by Sunday evening and the hospital will resume OPD, routine operation and dialysis from Monday onward, he said.
According to Rajen, there were 85 patients at the hospital when flood water started to enter the building as hospital staffers faced huge challenge in shifting the patients to safer blocks.
As flood water increased amid hectic efforts to shift the patients to safer blocks, patients numbering around 85 had to be referred and relocated to other hospitals with the help of Imphal West DC Kirankumar, SP Ksh Shivakanta, NDRF, Assam Rifles
and Arambai Tenggol.
