Rama Foundation holds training programme on mushroom cultivation

Imphal, October 15 2026: Rama Foundation, Nagamapal, organised a training programme on mushroom cultivation technology across Konthoujam and Nagamapal from October 10 to 13.The inaugural session was graced by Okram Deepak Meitei, president, (IFM); S Nonganba; and Soram Rajendra Kumar, managing director, Rama Foundation.

Soram Rajendra Kumar, Regional Achiever Awardee, served as the lead resource person for the programme.

He conducted technical sessions and practical field demonstrations, said the foundation.

Dr RK Roshan, Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture), ICAR KVK Tamenglong; Dr K Rabi, Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Breeding) also attended the programme.

Certificates were distributed to trainees.

The primary objective of the training was to empower individuals with practical skills for income generation, self-reliance, and improved quality of life, said the Rama Foundation.
