Imphal, February 15 2026: Thokchom Hemo Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of Panthoibi Housing Finance Company Limited, represented Northeast India at the NHB-APUHF International Conference on "Evolving Landscape of Housing Finance: Inclusivity, Stability, and Sustainability" in New Delhi.

The conference, running from February 11-14, was jointly organised by the National Housing Bank (NHB) and the Asia Pacific Union for Housing Finance.

The event gathered policymakers, financial institutions, fintech providers, and global delegates to share best practices for "Housing for All".

Hemo Singh, the sole representative from Northeast India, engaged in discussions on policy design, strategic tools for low-income housing, and regional market innovations.

His participation highlighted Manipur's role on the international stage.
