Golden jubilee celebrated

Former Dean, School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Manipur University (MU), Dr Shougaijam Dorendrajit has stated that through competitions, students can improve their physical abilities, teamwork, and character.
By participating in such events, students can also enhance their knowledge, leadership qualities, and social responsibility, which will help them succeed in their studies and future lives, he said.
He made the remark during the second day of the golden jubilee celebration of Padma Rama English School, Kakching.
As part of the event, dignitaries inaugurated a newly constructed children's park at the school premises.
The school students showcased their talents through various performances such as Thang-Ta, piano playing, singing, dancing, Manipuri and English recitations, and many other competitions and activities.
The event was graced by many notable dignitaries including Naorem Britain, president of the Alumni Association; Priyadarshini Laishram (MPS), Superintendent of Police, Kakching and Inspector Md Abash Khan, Officer-in-Charge, New Keithelmanbi Police Station, Kangpokpi district among others.
