Capacity building programme on air pollution organised

Pherzawl, April 12 2025: The District Health Society (DHS), Pherzawl in collaboration with the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH), Manipur State organized a one-day capacity building programme on "Air pollution & its impact on human health and heat related illnesses for Traffic police & Municipal workers" at CMO office camp yesterday.

Traffic police & police personnel including four Inspectors attended the event.

Masks were presented to the participants for their protection.

Meanwhile, the district administration also organised a campaign on child rights, awareness programmes on SVEEP, E-SHRAM registration and ban on single use plastics.

Campaigns on water and sanitation were also organised in Pherzawl, Parbung, Lungthulien, Senvon, Patpuihmun, Ngampabung and Kangreng village from April 8 to April 11 .
