District Youth Festivals announced for Imphal West, Bishnupur and Kakching

Imphal, December 10 2025: The Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Manipur, has announced the conduct of District Youth Festivals across Imphal West, Bishnupur, and Kakching as part of its continued efforts to promote youth talent, cultural heritage and creativity.

In a separate release issued by the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports Officer of the three districts, the District Level Youth Festival for Imphal West will be held on December 15, 2025 at Khuman Lampak Youth Centre.

Kakching District will host its event on December 14 at Kakching Library, while Bishnupur district will conduct the festival on December 15 at Thaningkhun, Bishnupur Ward no 7.The festival will feature a variety of competitive events including folk song (group), folk dance (group), painting, declamation, poetry and story writing.

All willing candidates have been requested to collect the eligibility form from their respective DYASO offices during office hours on all working days, and submit it before the last date.
