Indian Army flags off National Integration Tour

Imphal, November 10 2025:
In its continuous efforts to engage and inspire youth, the Indian Army's 44 Mountain Brigade under the aegis of the Red Shield Division flagged off a comprehensive 10-day "National Integration Tour", under Operation Sadbhavana on Monday.
The 10-day tour, scheduled from November 10 to 20, 2025, includes 20 students and two teachers who will visit Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The tour is being conducted with the objective of National integration for unity and in line with the Indian Army's vision of "Ek Bharat; Shreshtha Bharat".
It aims to foster national cohesion, mutual understanding and patriotic spirit among young minds by exposing them to India's rich cultural and regional diversity.
The tour, flagged off from Imphal, will follow the route from Imphal to Chennai, then to Bengaluru and finally to Hyderabad.
During the tour, the students will visit premier defence establishments, scientific institutions and cultural landmarks.
Speaking to the media, the teachers of Azad Higher Secondary School, Yairipok described the tour as an invaluable opportunity for learning and personal growth.
They noted that the experience will broaden student's horizons, inspire leadership and encourage them to contribute to nation-building and social harmony.
The students displayed great enthusiasm and readiness to participate in all scheduled activities, upholding the ideals of unity and patriotism embedded in the touring theme.
