Leibaklei Foundation hosts 1st edition of Quizink at Phayeng

Imphal, August 10 2026: Leibaklei Foundation organised the first edition of Quizink, its Annual Written Quiz Competition, on Sunday at Phayeng High School.

More than 80 students from 10 schools participated in the competition, which was held in four categories based on class groups.

The quiz tested students on classroom concepts, their practical applications and general awareness.

In Category I (Class 10-12), Nunglepam Ngansana of Competitive Success Academy, Uripok secured first position, followed by Thoibi Angom of SHRD, Phayeng in second and Kh Ngansana of Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School, Uripok in third.

In Category II (Class 8-9), Ningthoujam Reliya Devi of Wisdom English School, Phayeng bagged first prize, Barnabas Angom of the same school second, and Telheiba Angom of Oxford English Academy, Phayeng third.

In Category III (Class 6-7), Thokchom Abenao Chanu of Kangleipak Modem School, Lairenkabi won first, Ningthoujam Punsiba of the same school second, and Ningthoujam Surchandra of SHRD, Phayeng third.

In Category IV (Class 4-5), Ithoibi of Wisdom English School, Phayeng secured first, Henthoibi Angom second and Athoiba Angom third, all from the same school.

Consolation prizes went to Gunchenbi Kh and Wahengbam Lanchenbi of RB Academy, Lamsang and N Santhalembi and N Alex of Wisdom English School, Phayeng.

The organisers said prizes will be distributed on October 30, on the eve of the Foundation Day celebration of Leibaklei Foundation at its registered office in Phayeng.
