Imphal, January 10 2026: Renowned Manipuri Nat Sankirtana artist Kongbrailatpam Manglemchandra Shanna is nomore.

Manglemchandra breathed his last on January 7, 2026, due to an illness at his residence in Kodompokpi Mayai Leikai.

In his honour, the Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Imphal convened a condolence meeting at its office premises in Paona Bazar.

During the meeting chaired by Manipuri Sahitya Parishad president Longjam Joychandra Singh, members of the Parishad recalled the numerous contributions made by K Manglemchandra towards the pfeservation & promotion of Manipuri Nat Sankirtana, The meeting also shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family members and observed twd minutes of silence to pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
