GOC 3 Corps visits RSB

Imphal, September 09 2025: Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding 3 Corps, paid a historic visit today at Rajya Sainik Board (RSB), Manipur, marking the first ever visit by a Corps Commander.

During the visit, Col Gopendra Singh Puyam (Retd), Secretary of RSB, briefed the GOC on the Board's responsibilities, including welfare and resettlement of ex-service-men, war widows, and families of defence personnel, as well as pension-related benefits and recognition of gallantry award winners from the State.

He also highlighted challenges in implementing welfare measures and resettlement schemes.

Meanwhile, the GOC stressed the importance of sustained efforts to address these challenges and assured continued support for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families in Manipur.
